Imagine it is evening. You have experienced a lot today in Obertauern and you are feeling pleasantly exhausted. You slip into bed and all is well: the duvet is cosy and soft, the pillow is just right, and you know you will sleep well here and start the next day with its new adventures with renewed strength. Our rooms, suites and apartments in our main building and the neighbouring building vary in size, are luxuriously equipped and cosily furnished in accordance with Austrian tradition. Our Dependance*** is approx. 30 m away from our hotel and has its own entrance. The hotel****s and Dependance*** are not connected. In the apartment house there is an underground car park, from where you can take the lift up to your apartment or room. A ski cellar is also available. Use of the spa with indoor swimming pool and whirlpool (changing facilities in hotel area available) plus a number of public facilities at the Hotel Schneider are included.
The junior suite “duo” consists of two junior suites with connecting door.

People say a lot of good things about our cuisine. All of which is true. A part of you will be particularly pleased that you are on holiday at Hotel Schneider, and that is your palate. Give your car a break too. One free parking space (2.40 m) is reserved just for you. 2 lifts transport guests comfortably from the underground car park to their rooms, reception, dining rooms or to the ski cellar.
Once a week we organise a snowshoe walk through the winter wonderland to our “Achenrainhütte”.
Twice a week our ski instructor guides our guests on the Tauernrunde to get to know the ski area
Once a week our ski instructor takes the advanced skiers only to the skiing area.
