People have been closely connected to this impressive landscape in Obertauern, at the foot of the Gamsleiten, for centuries. So closely in fact that they experience countless stories here – which they then tell passionately.
It all started with the Brettsteinalm hut in 1671. In 1967, eleven rooms were rented out for the first time – offering people from the city the opportunity to breathe a little fresh country air. This turned into a true success story: today, where many delighted guests spend their holidays with us, and of course we are thrilled when they then decide to come back and stay with us once again. This is due to the fact that accommodating people, looking after them, pampering them and ensuring that they have both memorable and wonderful days is more than just a job for us.
